26 Nov 04, the foundation stone was laid by the then Hon’ble CM of
J&K, Sh. Mufti Mohammed Sayeed and General N C VIJ, PVSM, UYSM,
AVSM, ADC, the then Chief of Army Staff.
Under the aegis of HQ Victor Force and
overall supervision of HQ 15 Corps, AGPS Pahalgam began acquiring its
shape. After three years of meticulous planning and hard work, the gates
of the school were opened to the children of J & K on 02 Jun 08.
The school was formally inaugurated on 12 Nov 08 by then Chief of Army Staff, Gen Deepak Kapoor PVSM, AVSM, SM, VSM, ADC.
