TIFAC Recruitment 2014-15 : Technology Information, Forecasting and Assessment Council (TIFAC), invites applications for the following positions purely on contract basis initially for a period of 6 months further extendable by another six months, if needed, under TIFAC's MSME Program:
Project Associates – 3 Nos.
Nature of Work: TIFAC is initiating assessment of four export oriented MSME sectors namely: Electronic System Design and Manufacturing (ESDM), Oils – Flavours and Fragrances, Technical Textiles and Guar gum, for their potential for adoption of relevant technologies towards boosting of exports. The assessment to be carried out in consultation with sectoral experts, export councils and industry associations. The work will entail detailed coordination and follow up with various Ministries, experts, field visits etc and preparation (including collection, collation, compilation of data) of sectoral reports.
Essential Qualification: Degree in B.E./ B. Tech in Electronics & Communication, Electronics and Instrumentation, Textile, Chemical Engineering, Agriculture/Food Processing and related fields.
Desirable Qualification: MBA
Experience: Relevant experience in above sectors for a period of minimum six months is preferred.
Age: Maximum 30 years as on 01.01.2014.
Emoluments: Rs. 36,000/- per month (Consolidated and all inclusive).
