Indian Statistical Institute (ISI) Kolkata Walk in Interview will be held on 10th April 2014 for recruitment of two (02) Project linked person purely temporary basis to work in the project titled "Understanding of Genes and Genomes through Fractals and Mathematical Morphology" in the Applied Statistics Unit of the Institute Kolkata.

Scale of Pay :Ranging from Rs.22000/- to Rs.24000/- per month (Consolidated)
Educational Qualifications: M.Tech. in Computer Science or Computer Science Engineering/ Information Technology or equivalent, with experience in software development in MATLAB or other packages. Background in Fractals/ Bioinformatics /Mathematical Morphology is desirable.
Tenure of appointment: The appointment is like ly to be till 31 March 2015 which may be extended later/terminated earlier, depending upon (1) availability of funds, (2) requirement of the project and (3) performance of the candidates.
Candidates appearing for the interview will be required to bring their current Curriculum Vitae in English, giving particulars of (a) Name (In block letters), (b) Mailing Address, (c) E-mail Address (d) Telephone/ Mobile No., (e) Father's/ Husband's Name, (f) Date of birth, (g) Academic Qualifications (with percentage of marks obtained in each examination), (h) Experience (if any), (i) SC/ST/OBC/differently abled status, along with originals and attested copies of all documents/ testimonials.
