ISRO [Space Applications Centre (SAC)] Recruitment 2014 : Development and Educational Communication Unit (DECU) is involved in realizing various satellite-based societal applications like Telemedicine, Tele-Education, etc. The two important elements of such projects are ‘Video Programme Production’, which is done in the areas of education, development, science, space applications, etc. and Social Research Studies’, which are conducted in the areas of communication, science-society interaction, societal impact of space technology, etc.

Social Research Officer - C -  01 Post  

Essential: Ph.D. holders in Social work/Sociology/Development Communication/Mass Communication from recognized Institutions.

Junior Producer - 01 Post 

 Essential: Ph.D. holders in Film & TV Production/Development Communication/Mass Communication from recognized Colleges/Institutions.

Social Research  Assistant  - 03 Posts

  Essential: Master’s Degree (2 years) with 1st class in Social work/Sociology/Development Communication/ Mass Communication from Government recognized Institutions.

Programme Assistant  -  03 Posts

 Essential: Master’s Degree (minimum 2 years duration) with 1st class in Film & TV Production/Development Communication/ Mass Communication from Government recognized Colleges/Institutions.

Technical Assistant  (Sound Recording) - 01  Post 

Essential: Diploma (minimum 3 years duration) with 1st class in Sound Engineering/Sound Recording from recognized Institutions.

Scientific Assistant -05 posts

Essential: B.Sc. in Multimedia/Animation (minimum 3 yearsduration) with 1st class from UGC/AICTE/Govt. recognized Institutions.

Media Library Assistant - 01 post

 Essential: Graduation + Master's Degree with 1st class in Library Science/Library Information Science or equivalent from UGC/AICTE/Govt. recognized Institutions.

Library Assistant ‘A’- 01 post

 Essential: Graduate + Master’s Degree in LibraryScience/Library & Information Science or equivalent (First Class) from recognized University / Institution.

Age Limit: Maximum 35 years as on 05/05/2014 (40 years for SC/ST category and 38 years for OBC category candidates only for the posts where reservation is applicable). Ex-servicemen and persons with disabilities (PWD) are eligible for upper age relaxation as per Government of India rules.
