About us : CDA (Funds) Meerut is an integral part of Defence Accounts Department, headed by Controller General of Defence Accounts, functioning under the aegis of Ministry of Defence. It is committed to serve approximately 2.2 lakh Defence Civilian GPF subscribers. The organisation ensures correct and efficient maintenance of fund accounts, prompt payment in the event of subscribers becoming non-effective, early settlement of discrepancies in the GPF accounts of subscribers and issuance of ‘Annual Statement of Fund Accounts’.

About Us :  The office of The CDA (Army) Meerut came into existence w.e.f 01/01/1995 after decentralization of CDA (CC) Meerut, committed for catering efficient and prompt services to the Army having its audit jurisdiction up to Joshimath in Uttarakhand and Mathura in Uttar Pradesh. Establishment of DAD Offices in Meerut are date back to 1889, which was subsequently followed by enhancing staff and authority for payment in 1904. Office of the CDA (Army) Meerut is accommodated in historical building of Belvedere Complex at Ayudh Path Meerut Cantt.

About us : Cantonments were established in various parts of India by East India Company after the battle of Plassey in 1757 against Nawab Siraj ul-Daula. The first Cantonment was established in 1765 at Barrackpore, near Calcutta.  The  Cantonments Act was promulgated in 1924. The Military Lands and Cantonments Service as a Central Service was created in 1940's. In 1985 the name of service was changed from Defence Lands and Cantoments Service to Indian Defence Estates Service
