Age Limit: Candidates age should not below 18 years and should not above 35 years as on 01-07-2013 and who have already applied in pursuance of earlier notification shall be considered as on 22-12-2011. Age relaxation is 05 years for SC/ ST/ BC candidates.

Educational Qualification: Candidates must possess S.S.L.C/ S.S.C/ 10th Class with I.T.I qualification in Electrical Trade/ Wireman trade or Intermediate vocational course in Electrical Domestic Appliances and Rewinding (EDAR) and Electrical Wiring & Contracting (EWC) on par with Electrical Wiring and Servicing of Electrical Appliances (EW & SEA) from a recognized Board.

Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on performance in Meter Reading Test, Cycling Test followed by Pole Climbing Test and Marks Secured in 10th Class and I.T.I or Intermediate vocational course.

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for filling up the following posts at Central Research Institute for Dryland Agriculture, Santoshnagar, Saidabad Post, Hyderabad — 500 059 [Andhra Pradesh] under the administrative control of the Indian Council of Agricultural Research :- 

The crucial date for determining the age limit, educational qualification, experience etc. will be the closing date for receipt of applications.

 General instructions for candidates :-

01. Duly completed application form should be submitted in the proforma appended, accompanied by a latest passport size photograph, attested copies of certificates in proof of age, educational qualification, mark sheets, experience, caste status [in case of SC/ST/OBC certificate issued by the Competent Authority in the prescribed form].
02. Name of the post applied for should invariably be mentioned on the top of the envelope and application should be addressed to the Director, Central Research Institute for Dryland Agriculture, Santoshnagar, Saidabad Post, Hyderabad – 500 050 [A.P].
03. The prescribed qualifications are minimum and enhanced qualification do not entitle candidates to be called for test /interview. Where the number of applications received in response to the advertisement is large and it will not be
convenient or possible for the Institute to call all the candidates for test / interview, the Institute will restrict the number of candidates as per norms.
04. The Director, Central Research Institute for Dryland Agriculture reserves the right to shortlist the candidates for test /interview, after due screening of applications, on the basis of qualifications, experience etc.
05. The post is Non-Government under the Indian Council of Agricultural Research which will be governed by New
Pension Scheme introduced by the Govt. of India with effect from 01.01.2004 mutatis mutandis as amended or
modified from time to time.
06. The post is purely temporary but likely to continue.
07. Persons already employed should route their application through proper channel.
08. The application in the prescribed format complete in all respect along with a demand draft of Rs.100/- for each post drawn in favour of ““ICAR Unit A/c. – CRIDA., Hyderabad” should reach the Director, Central Research Institute

09. No fee for SC/ST/PH and women candidates.
10. Incomplete / unsigned applications will not be considered.
11. Application received after the due date for any reason including postal delays will not be entertained.
12. No correspondence will be entertained from the candidates for selection / test / interview / appointment. Canvassing in any form will be treated as disqualification.
13. Shortlisted candidates will be called for test / interview.
14. All the candidates in the ICAR service / Govt. Service whether in a permanent or in temporary capacity or as work
